Odini Gogo Biography

I am an accomplished attorney with more than 16 years of experience and extensive expertise in business negotiations, commercial contracts, and technology transactions. With a proven track record of providing strategic legal advice and delivering exceptional results, I have successfully assisted numerous clients in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating various business arrangements. My experience encompasses a wide range of areas, including intellectual property, data privacy and security, SaaS agreements, and software licenses.

I co-founded a reputable general corporate law firm with three offices in Aspen, Atlanta, and New York. As a partner and attorney, I represented diverse clients, including startups, public corporations, investors, financial institutions, educational institutions, and non-profit entities. With a focus on delivering comprehensive legal solutions, I provided general counsel, expert dispute resolution, efficient litigation management, and skillful contract drafting and negotiations for businesses across industries.

My expertise extends to being a trusted legal advisor to various companies at all stages, from startups to VC-funded, large enterprises, and publicly traded. I possess in-depth experience in varying commercial contracts, enabling me to effectively negotiate and draft commercial technology and information-related contracts that meet the unique needs of these businesses.

During my tenure as Director of Legal at a SaaS Marketing Company, I oversaw the drafting and negotiation of contracts for the company's East Coast and international sales, customer success, professional services, and business development activities. Additionally, I provided valuable legal and strategic business advice across internal functions, ensuring compliance, resolving disputes, and addressing contract issues.

As Corporate Counsel in a Fortune 100 company, I played a crucial role as the primary negotiator for critical contractual negotiations with Cisco's largest customer. I reviewed, drafted, and analyzed non-standard commercial, licensing, and procurement contracts, ensuring alignment with Cisco's products, services, and solutions. Furthermore, I supported the M&A integration team by conducting legal due diligence and implementing processes for acquired companies.

My professional experience also includes serving as an Associate in the Corporate & Technology Group at BigLaw firm, where I advised fund sponsors and investors in structuring and negotiating investment funds. I also provided comprehensive legal counsel on corporate law and technology-related commercial transactions, skillfully drafting and negotiating a variety of agreements.

Throughout my career, I have consistently demonstrated a commitment to excellence and have been recognized for my accomplishments. I hold a Juris Doctor from Emory University School of Law, where I achieved Dean's List honors. Additionally, I am admitted to practice law in the states of New York, Georgia, and Colorado.
